RD1014, Solid State Radiation Detector

Nuclear radiation is the effluence from a nuclear radiation source that consists of energy in the form of particles or waves.
RD1014 is a solid state detector for beta radiation (electrons), gamma radiation (photons) and X-rays.
The performance of the RD1014 solid state detector is superior to the common Geiger-Mueller tube with respect to sensitivity, signal output and noise. These advantages, in combination with high insensitivity towards electrostatic fields make the RD1014 a good choice for new state-of-the-art designs as well as for upgrading existing designs.
